Our sessions can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement and can be done via phone, Skype or in person at our office. Countless studies show how therapy and coaching lead to happier and less stressful lives.
Parenting is the toughest job on earth. Wouldn't you love to find out how to better calm your newborn, appropriately discipline your toddler, best handle your difficult child or teen? There is no course or perfect book designed to teach you how to be a parent, so we work with each parent to create a customized plan for each client's unique needs.
Relationships suffer the most after the children arrive. Our sessions can get your marriage back on track. We can help parents clearly outline what they need in the relationship and how each partner can improve communication and actions for each other and themselves. Studies show that when a relationship is strong children are happier and better adjusted. Every relationship deserves the support and guidance it needs to be the best. When the relationship is strong the family is strong.
The teenage years can be one of the most difficult times for both parents and children. We can work with your teen where they are most comfortable - via phone, on the computer, or in our conveniently located office. By working in a place in which they feel safe, teens are able to feel comfortable and verbalize the issues they face. This time in their life is rife with issues related to peer pressure, self esteem, sexuality, and drugs. Together we can make a plan to teach the teen tools to handle an emotional, educational or physical challenge which may come their way.

Nanny Therapy and Mediation:
Whether it is helping to negotiate a salary or working through a difficult argument, we can help mediate through this difficult time. Losing a caregiver can be quite stressful for both parent and child and sometimes all that is required is better communication and understanding between nanny and parents. Two sessions with parents and the childcare provider can make all the difference for a smooth family transition and a lasting and successful relationship. We will also provide our exclusive training forms to help fix present and future caregiver issues, such as holidays, bonuses, emotional issues with the children, rules, emergencies and so much more.
"Tammy was a life saver. I have been to other therapists and coaches, but none were as kind, caring and helpful as Tammy. I was excellent at my career, but really struggling as a mom. It was so easy to work with Tammy. Sometimes she came to my house, other times we worked on the phone. She taught me how to use discipline (instead of yelling) at my children, gave me tools to use with my husband, she even diagnosed my infant with Reflux when we could not figure out why he was crying all day. I am a totally different person a year later after working with Tammy."
"I was having a terrible time with my nanny. It was causing me problems at home and at work. I did not want to lose her because my children adored her and I was not able to miss work while finding a replacement. I realized my nanny was also uncomfortable. Tammy totally fixed everything. The Nanny Training Manual allowed us to both voice our needs without emotion. A year later, our nanny is happy, I am happy and most importantly, the children are happy!"
